Koh Samui (or Samui Island) is one of the best travel destinations in Thailand. Samui’s Island land has been inhabited for well over a thousand years. It is the second-largest island of the Phangntian islands and is known for its excellent beaches and diving. You will never see such beautiful views in San Diego for sure.

Holidaymakers, honeymooners, visitors, and tourists generally do not ascend to this beautiful island. It is much too late to be giving it a go. The locals do not encourage tourism except for a select few travelers who have a good reputation for staying there.

What to expect from the journey

There are a few tourist guides that organize trips to the island and also organize small travel groups. Some basic travel lodging options are the islands Dona Lukea Beach Resort and Dona S Retiro or the Ritz Carlton Resort and Spa. These resorts both are safe and secure. Something similar to what you expect from traveling in US North Carolina, but not from Asia.

Sail through the strait and discover the uniqueness of Koh Samui. The limestone karsts jutting out of the emerald waters create a spectacular backdrop at every turn. There are many dive sites for both the novice diver as well as the expert.

Visitors to Koh Samui need not be jetting off to some other far-flung exotic island. Skiing is another popular draw, with glorious mountain ranges in every direction. The island has a lively nightlife and there is a variety of eateries to choose from.

The special charm of the island

No matter how long you stay, you’re sure to be consumed by the romanticism of Koh Samui. The local cuisines provide a selection of seafood and world-famous Koh Samui dishes, served with a touch of Western influence. After your meal, you can go on a guided underwater trail to see the real nature of Koh Samui.

Koh Samui is also a great place to kick back after a day of diving and snorkeling. There are many traditional Thai massage bars for customers to enjoy, where the chance to relax is palpable. The sunlight glinting off icy blue waves and the surrounding turquoise blue water marine cliffs Suddenly seem to draw closer, and as you feel the rays pummel your skin, you instantly know this is the time to be in God’s presence.
